You know it's going to be odd when the headline is "Pod Caravan is Like Living in a Toilet". And strangely enough, it does appear to be molded fiberglass.

Well why not, Boler started out from the idea of a fiberglass septic tank!

The Pod is kinda cool. Not that I'd want one, but I'd sure like to see one in person

Too claustrophobic for me.

The article mentions that it is another "concept" vehicle.

There are reader comments below - ONE of which rightly points out that the axle location is completely wrong - it will put all the weight on the tow vehicle.

I tried (ok, for not more then 5 minutes) to find out more, and it LOOKS like it might be a new addition by an existing Brit manufacturer - see http://www.podcaravans.co.uk/
Seems to have the same rear axle. dunno if that is a Brit thing or is specific to this mfg.

Still - would LOVE to see one.

Alan

Weird. But think of the hitch loading. It would require a semi tractor!

Judging by the 4+foot height, what do you think? Do people crawl around in them?

Oh but it's lime green.................... Love it! Hey they got to start somewhere with an idea, maybe someday they will work out the kink's, or should I say the axel thing all you saw off the bat. Robin
