Another Egg 1978 Boler 17'

Not that I need another but I couldn't pass it up. This is a 1978 Boler 17' made by Neonex. Most of the ones I've seen are made by Vangard. Can anyone tell me what the differences are? It is in really good shape for it's age and pulled like a dream.

I have a Boler B1700 Deluxe. I know that because there's a metal plate on the outside to the left of the door that reads in very faint letters "B1700 DELUXE". I am guessing it was made by Vanguard.

Here are some characteristics:

- about 2500 lbs. dry/unloaded
- ensolite insulation
- rear gaucho
- wood cabinets
- stove with oven (DELUXE feature)
- fiberglass bath w/shower (DELUXE feature)
- flat entrance door and door jamb

What's interesting is:

- Some Boler 17s were made with fiberglass cabinets
- Some Boler 17s were made with a sprayed in wall insulation instead of glued on ensolite

My Trillium 4500 also towed crappy. I then put a friction bar on it and it towed like a dream. I loved that little trailer and wish I had never sold it.

Well we've towed our Trillium 4500 well over 15,000 miles. Really like it.

Can you give me more details on the friction bar?

This Boler has wood cabinets and no oven. It does have a fiberglass shower.

Hey Steve this is Steve from SAFE. How have you been? The reason I bought this one is because of what I saw that you had done with yours. I'm still keeping the Bonair Oxygen but will keep this one until I find a good home for it.
