Another plus for little trailers..

I wanted to move my trailer to the left side of the garage so that when I got out of the car it was in the middle, not the far left. I pulled the car out, then in about five minutes with minimal effort moved the Campster to where I wanted it (tongue has a wheeled jack.) How many monster trailer owners can do that?

Sure makes hitching up on cement easier, too, though unfortunately it doesn't roll like that on dirt or gravel.

I move my more than a ton Scamp around on the asphalt carport with a tongue dolly. Takes a bit of grunting to get going, but doable. If parking was left to my banking-into-the-carport skills, the trailer would spend most of it's time parked kinda sideways , but with the dolly, it is put exactly where I want it.

I had to get good at backing- my garage is separated from the street only by the sidewalk so there is nowhere else to park- but without being able to position after I unhitch I would have to be ten times better at it or my car wouldn't go into the garage.

I did figure out I'll be able to work on the poptop if I poke the trailer out the door a few feet (part of the garage has a room overhead so a lower roof and I can't open the poptop there.) So time to finally order the edging stuff and get rid of the pipe wrap!
