Hat's off to free enterprise etc. It's a tough market to break into given the long term players and their well established production lines. Good luck to him.

Some valid questions have already been raised about a few design features. It'll be nice if there's some clarification.

One thing I noticed was the RV screen door unit. We had one of those on the RV we "cruised out of Arizona". I found the two doors were interacting with each other, not necessarily in a good way. Made me appreciate how well the Scamp folding screen door works.

The back one in the shop has a bellyband but the front one looks like it has been removed, there is no outer lip. I do wonder if maybe he found a few of them and does remods or custom orders.

Steve, it might be that the trim is decorative, to hide any imperfections the seam may show, as Escape does after glassing the two halves together.

New Start-Up in B.C.

I emailed the person who posted the ad about this new trailer. I heard from him a little while ago. Here is what he said (I asked a few questions about specs as well as paperwork for importing to the U.S.):
"Hello Linda,
I am the manufacturer of this trailer. This one listed is the prototype. I presently have 4 more in stock. The inside height is 6’, and the bed is just about a double. The prototype is 1630 lbs, and the other 4 are just over 1500 lbs. The outside height from road to top is 7’ 4”. And the width is approximately 6’4”. I’m sorry but I don’t know any of the paperwork required to import to the US.

Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
Daryll"

I will give him the link to this forum so he can hopefully communicate with folks here and give us more info.

Linda, I had already sent him an invite to the forum, and a link to this thread when Donna first posted. I imagine he has already been around.

"Interior is all fiberglass – counters, table, cabinets and headliner – easy to clean. Comes with 2 burner propane stove, 3 way fridge, sink, flush toilet with holding tank, small inline cooling system, ceiling vent with fan, screen door, outside LED lights, 2 leather swivel chairs, 6” foam double bed. Deluxe curtains and upholstery. Easy to tow – high off the ground – perfect for backroads. 2000 lb axle – heavy frame. Special price $11,900.00"

I think it's a nice looking rig at a fair price.
