Exclamation Any fiberglass dealerships between NC and Decatur, IL

Howdy,

We have a trip planned in a few weeks that will take us to Decatur, IL. We plan on stopping around Louisville, KY (vinyl records and aching body break) going up and back. The route will be I-77, I-64, I-65, I-74 (Indy) and I-72.

Since we are without a travel trailer, we would like to stop and take a look at a few Fiberglass models if such a place might exist along the way.

Are there any fiberglass dealerships along the way? I am open for suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Bartholomew.

Most of the fiberglass trailer makers such as Escape, Scamp, Casita, Parkliner to name a few do not sell through dealers they sell direct from their factories.... one of the big exceptions is Bigfoot who does use dealers.

Parkliner is built in NC, and Lil Snoozy in SC. You could tour the factories sometime and see their products there.

Scamp is in MN, Casita is in TX. Nothing along your route, really. But the factories welcome callers and probably can refer you to owners who've offered to show theirs and who are near where you live.

Another great way to see a bunch of different trailers at once is to attend a FG rally. There's a rally coming up in Cherokee, NC on Oct. 16-19, see the 'rally' section of this forum for details. You would be warmly welcomed.

Bigfoot has dealers in 6 states. Oregon, Colorado, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, California and Arizona. Since none of these is close to your requirements I suggest you look at the rally schedule and plan a day. Lots of people at the rally's would be willing to let you look at their trailers and you could see lots of different brands.

Mike,

Thanks for the info. Parkliner is less then 20 miles from the house and the Cherokee rally looks like we can make that as well. Thanks again.

Jack,

Looks like the rally would be the best to scout. Thanks
