Any idea who made this FG camper?

A story on the homeless in LA included two photos that caught my eye and show a fiberglass camper that appears to be another variant of the Boler style. What I find interesting is that above the front window, the body appears to go straight up and form a type of brow and had running lights there also.

Anyone know who made this version, and if it is worth anything? There are a couple of homeless ladies who could probably use the funds.

Trail Mite has an eyebrow on front.

Its value is related to condition like any vintage egg. The one in your pictures, Jim, looks pretty rough. Probably worth more to them than to one of us, their one ewe lamb.

Jon,

thanks, that sure looks a lot like theirs. So no lucky "barn find" worth a million dollars!

I think there are very few molded fiberglass trailers so special and so rare as to rise to collector status. The Geographic trailer that pops up from time to time is one. As far as I recall it's a one-off and the molds have been destroyed. The owner/restorer originally wanted over $100K, went to eBay, but seems like the reserve was not met: 1960 Geographic Restoration on eBay

Actually the Geographic did sell to someone who lives in France. It was shipped in a cargo container. I feel so fortunate to have physically viewed this trailer at the Oregon Gathering.

Here's more pictures and more of the story: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...l-x-41309.html

On edit: Eric posted information about the sale: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ler-49313.html

Only 5 were manufactured, between 1958 and 1962, by Holiday House Trailers (Harry & David Fruitier) of Medford, Oregon.
