That's Eriba Puck. There's some info on the history here:

Not molded FRP, but molded plastic.

I own an Eriba Puck but its for parts only. I was hoping to find another and put them together into one but these trailers are very rare indeed and I have had no luck at all.

Have you checked over at Samba.com for interest in the Eriba? Either the discussion forums or parts...

They have a british web site. The Puck is their smallest one, there are two larger sizes that are similar in style with the pop-top roof.

I thought they were aluminium. I have seen them on european roads, but not up close.

We had a chance to look at a Puck at a recent VW car show in Effingham, IL. Neat little unit!

Eriba Pucks, yes they do exist, as tin cans

Hey guys! (busting into conversation), are you talking about Eruba Pucks? My best buddy's son-in-law (who lives in the neighborhood) bought one "to fix up" a couple of years ago! So I've looked up their history as I can on the internet. His IS aluminum, when you wrote plastic I'm like, huh?. It's also a fixer-upper, although I dare say he tore a lot out he could have fixed up. He liked my trailer but he's a VW buff and these were made to pull behind VWs (yes, even bugs). You can get a nice speil about them on the internet if you speak German!
ERIBA Puck - Ein Wohnwagen erobert die Herzen
Here's a "rolling history" (in English): eriba_puck [Tin Can Tourists Wiki]

This is maybe what he has:
It's nothing like this new!

I wrote down I got a bunch of photos off of a thread on "teardrops and tiny trailers" (Reba). What website that is, beats me.

Shucks, I can't find the YouTube or photo or whatever I saw from the 1960's of a bug pulling an Eriba Puck, so this will have to do:

PS The son-in-law so far hasn't done much fixing-up, from what I've heard.

Yes we are talking about Eriba Pucks and they are aluminum with a fiberglass top, which is why they are being discussed here.

And "Teardrops and Tiny Trailers" web site is an outstanding site, if you want information on these types of trailers. What this site is to fiberglass trailer owners, so is T&TT site is to Teardroppers. If nothing else, it is good to check out all the great homemade trailers over there. They have some true craftsmen (and women!) on that site.
