I don't own a Saab, but their site says the camper, with alternate "gaiters" could fit any car.... perhaps even my older Volvo"
I don't think it's for me, but who knows who needs one? Interesting site. Thanks.

"The low weight of the standard Toppola, with full interior package, is only 330 pounds." Interesting... put it on a towable frame!

Thanks for that. Can't show it to Fred though. We bought a new Saab in Sweden years ago and drove it for around 250,000 miles. Then we gave it to our cousin who fixed up the rust around the wheels. It is still going and he has around 350k on it now. We have never had a car we loved as much as that one.

I joked about burying Fred in it, but we gave it away, so he can't go to the grave in the Saab.

I'm just picturing one of those Toppolas on my first car, a '73 Chevy Vega. It could have been interesting....

Too bad Saab just went under ... I had three within a span of 21years. They weren't the same after GM got involved

Ahhh, yes, very sad news!
I have owned 4 Saab's over the last 10 years, and
currently drive a Saab 9-5, 2.3 turbo 4 cylinder and
absolutlely love it. It is a comfortable, safe and economical sedan, that has required very minimal repairs, basically just normal upkeep.
I have towed a Burro, Trillium and utility trailer with it, never
had an issue, lots of power, even through the mountains.
Would definitely recommend one, providing it was well taken care of.
RIP SAAB!

Happy Holidays everyone!
Cheers, Jake
