Counter trim

Sorry for jumping in on the thread, but anyone have a good solution for replacing the vinyl trim around the countertop? The sides have gone all wavy. No one seems to know what I'm talking about at the box stores.

Melody,

I'll take a wild guess; is it a T molding? These are commonly used with laminate surfaced counter tops. They fit into a slot around the perimeter of the top.

Thank you! At least I have the name of the product now. The link shows very long rolls of product for a high price. Anyone know where in Canada I could obtain a small piece or at least a better price?

What about cost effective alternatives?

I'd check local hardware stores. Before you go in, measure the width of the edge you're covering. You could also search online. You may find sources that sell smaller quantities.

T molding

My son has purchased T molding on line in like 25 foot rolls for a fairly reasonable price for restoring video game cabinets. Perhaps if you have a local arcade ( coin operated games) service shop in your area they would have some.
