On the website www.usedvictoria there is listed this am. a 15ft. fg "Captain" travel trailer for $1800. It is found in Victoria, BC. It says that it is a shell. Have a look. Bonnie

We've got pictures of a Captain in the albums: Captain Album. Looks like a stretched Cadet to me! Or at least a kissin' cousin.

The ad: 15 ft Fibreglass Trailer
Quote:
1987 "captain" fibreglass trailer, gutted. Amazing project for skilled fibreglass person. Comes with beautiful new windows.
Even gutted, $1800 might be a good deal if the shell and chassis are sound... if you like building interiors and fitting out trailers. I wonder why the ad suggests that it is an "Amazing project for skilled fibreglass person", if the shell is good? Do the windows need fabrication work to install?

The Captain and Cadet are the North American model names for two sizes of a range of European trailers which were imported though a final assembly operation in Canada.

Here are a couple of previous topics:

You could also contact Brian Hatfield, or look for any post by him; he has a Captain.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.
