I'm already planning my winter fix up/mods - one of them being recovering the seat cushions. I did search to see if there was a discussion about leather usage but didn't locate any post regarding it, so I thought I'd give it a try here. If this has been discussed and I didn't find it, please direct me accordingly and delete this posting please!?
I figured that large luxury motorhomes have leather sofas and chairs and I thought since it's just my husband and myself, and we mostly eat out under the
awning on a picnic table, and the rear bed is always down leaving the front table exposed, I thought I've been researching having our 27 year old cushions recovered in leather. I found a supply company on the web who has leather for $9.00 a yard, which I didn't think was too bad after visiting my JoAnn's fabric store and finding material for much, much more.
Anyone have a thought on this kind of covering in a
fiberglass trailer? I have a 10 year old leather sofa and love seat in my home so my trailer being my 2nd home, I thought maybe it would work?!
Whatya think? Stick with material covering or go leather?
