Armadillo

I'm probably not the first to notice, but in perusing who's coming to Bullard's Beach this year I noticed there will be in attendance one Armadillo trailer. I Had not ever heard of this make so looked it up and it is a very interesting and apparently well built little trailer. I'm not good at links so if you are interested just pull up Armadillo travel trailer ( leaving out travel in you inquiry will get you a bunch of cargo trailers and such ). Lee

There are several discussions here on FiberglassRV about the Armadillo. Here's one from late last year with lots of pics: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...llo-67441.html all posted by the manufacturer

Lets see, Boler begat Scamp, and later, Lil'Bigfoot, and the Lil'Bigfoot molds begat the Armadillo.

But 19,500 loonies for a bare bones unit, that's almost 149 Ben Franklins.... Ouch!

Yes, and looking at their "upgrade options" prices, you can spend $30,000 bucks on one of them to get it outfitted properly. I got all those options included with my Casita for $17,000 out the door. Seems like a lot of money for such a small shell.

Prices are expressed in CDN$.. $30,000 CDN is about $22,888 USD, but still a lot more than a Scamp with the same equipment.
