Jeff you've probably noticed from reading the topics I posted in an earlier thread, the ASV is not a [b]molded fiberglass trailer, which is of course the focus of this forum. If you're really interested in getting more information about the ASV, you might have more luck on the RV.net forums here: Open Road Forums

I guess I am not sure why this would not be part of this forum? The unit is molded fiberglass front and rear caps and the roof is fiberglass? What type of unit would this be? Is it some crossbreed or what? I thought maybe I could get some advice on this site. Thanks in advance.

I understand your confusion. FiberglassRV has a focus of 100% molded fiberglass bodied trailers, not just some parts. Our trailers are built in molds using a totally different process than panels that are screwed together. Trailers such as the ASV uses fiberglass panels for the body. Current building practices for what we call "Stickies" or "slab-sided" trailers are manufactured this way. These trailers have their own set of maintenance issues due to the manufacturing process including a framework, which our trailers don't need. That's why I pointed you to the Open Roads forum. Lots of discussions about trailers built similarly to the ASV there.

Does this help?
