Awakened by llamas!

'lo all. I'm in northern New Mexico on a sheep ranch at 7500'. Each morning, the guard llamas come to give the Casita (and me) a look-over. A bit startling at first to see their two faces staring in the window, their big fuzzy ears twitching and revolving. They also enjoy lying in the shade from the Casita.

I will leave here (reluctantly!) on Monday and head for Blanco, TX.

Casita performing brilliantly, as expected.

Best wishes to everyone. Will write again when I can.

Blanco, TX

Not too far from some really great peaches that come in about the second week in July. Just a little west of there on the road to Fredericksburg.

You may have been there or heard it mentioned on this board before - but Cape Blanco Oregon is heaven. IMHO ;)

(and PS..ignore the signs....take a piece of driftwood - it'll last for hours!:) )

Thanks for sharing this, Robert. I could just see those curious llama expressions. For those of us homebound more than we would like, these vicarious camping experiences are great!
