Awning Tie Down Straps?

What are you using for awning tie down straps? I can't seem to find any nice ones? I need to figure something else out, budgies are a really bad idea!

You might use parachute cords found in retailers.

I have an A&E (Dometic) Case Awning on my Scamp (I put it on, the same as on Casitas) and purchased tie down from Susan Shades... I feel confident, when used, my awning is secured!

I use 1” bright orange motorcycle tie down straps. People walking by can’t miss seeing them and I don’t end up with a law suit.

Great link, Donna. The side shade looks like a good idea to keep the wind out from under the awning, as well as providing a little privacy for urban campgrounds. How easy ar the straps to set up?

I use bungee cords hooked at the top of the leg and usually attached to each end of the pic-nic table which is placed between the awning legs.

These are budgies, and I agree with your conclusion!.....

Many have holes in the feet for driving stakes.

Don't trust staking the legs down only. Been there. You also need the ones that can clip on the sides of the awning.

The factory Snoozy awning have no legs.
