Sounds easy enough to make. Just need to know what is used to attach the fishing poles to the blocks of wood and the magnets?

Duct tape?

I'd just drill a hole for the fishing pole and slap some epoxy on the magnets.

Guess I was just wondering what kind of glue would last forever. Will try the Gorilla Glue. Thanks.

This is a true lo-buck, a whatever works thing. Just drill a hole to fit for the pole and a shallow hole for the magnets. I used 5 minute epoxy from the tube. The wood is leftover from an old table leg. You can add one in the bottom and it will stay on the tongue.
These are the second ones we've used in about twelve years. I didn't get too fancy 'cause they just get tossed into the back of the truck last.
