Dog gone it.

It's -3F here this morning (-19C). Six inches of snow on the ground. More forecast for tonight.

Less than 3 weeks to Christmas.

Too many friends, too much family, too many functions. Too darn cold to camp (hey, even I have my limits on things)

Weather .... functions ... festivities .... the deadly trio lined up straighter than Orion's Belt to force me to cancel our last planned campout of the year.

Yup, this weekend is out.

Pam tells me the rest of the year is booked solid.

No more camping in 2005 for me.

Rats.

Why me, Lord?

I had hoped to squeeze in another night or two before New Year's Eve.

But ... noooooooooooo

Oh well ... there's always next year!

Please tell me some of you are going camping for Christmas ... or atleast are going to get out a couple of more nights (I know, I know ... some of you are fiulltiming ... so please don't rub it in!)
