Bargman L400 ebay heads up!

I've just listed my Bargman L400 on ebay: Bargman L400 RV entry door latch | eBay

I wish I could offer it here for a low price, but I just hemorrhaged a big wad of cash getting supplies for the winter makeover....so hopefully I can make some of that up selling this thing on to an original-parts enthusiast.

In case you guys are interested, I pulled this off my 1980 Burro just because I'm doing a big remodel and fix-up and decided to put in newer door locking hardware. It's in decent usable condition now but needs some TLC to ensure a longer life, and I'm not committed enough to the idea of original equipment to want to make that sort of investment in locksmith services.

I'm replacing it with a new Fastec lockset which I can replace easily for $30 if I ever need to. Unfortunately I will have to re-sculpt the door a little - I wish there were a new lock/latch model that fits the L400 footprint, but it seems there's not. Sadface.

Which model Fastec locket are you replacing it with? I need to replace the L400 on my Trillium 4500. If it's not too much re-sculpting, I might try the Fastec set as well.

I'll probably bid on your auction when it gets closer to ending (if it isn't too high by then ).

I'm using one of these: Fastec Travel Trailer Lock, Chrome

The vertical orientation and the dimensions make it useless for fitting into the existing indentation in my door, which is a real drag. I'll post photos of the re-sculpting process once we get to that stage. I don't know whether the Trilliums have a similar L400-shaped groove in which the lock sits like the older Burros do.
