Bathroom flood
Last night, one of us was the last in the bathroom and flushed of course before leaving. Vicki woke up at 12:45 a.m. to the sound of water, running. She belted Ian, the deaf guy, to get out of bed and check the bathroom. He found water, water everywhere because the flush lever had jammed against our garbage can, leaving it running a little. By that time of the morning, the toilet had overflowed and she could hear the water splashing onto the floor. We weren't connected to sewer and suddenly had both grey and black water tanks FULL. Bit of a mess but it didn't leak out onto the main floor and Ian managed to take care of everything this a.m. The adventure continues.

The awesome thing is that the water was contained in the bathroom and there was no water damage anywhere else!

Were you refilling the fresh water tank as it got used up? Because on my Burro the fresh water and grey water tank is about the same size (about 18 gallons by my measurements) and the black tank is 8, so even if my toilet valve got stuck both tanks won't fill up before I ran out of fresh water. I sometimes refill my fresh water from jugs though, when I do that it does get hard to judge how full the the grey tank is.

Yep, we were hooked up to water supply. No telling what was coming in.

Hi: Ian-Vicki...It's still quite fashonable to have an "Indoor Pool".

That still does not really let us know which half of the Ian-Vicki team to hold accountable for the mishap. My vote leans toward Vicki.

If you look at our history of postings on this site, Ian's the fibreglass guy. I resent your thinking it was me. Also, I have the shorter, back side of the bed. So guess who comes to bed last and is the last one in the bathroom? LOL

Which me is that? The Ian "me" or Vicki "me"?
