I didn’t recall having any problems ordering the diverter off eBay, except the one I ordered came from the UK. I just trimmed the corners with a hack saw to friction fit inside the seat, then added a little foam weatherstripping to help hold it in place and cut down the seat shifting slightly. I’d like to find a better fitting pee container but this one works ok for now. I use peat moss since I already had a bag for garden use.

And to respond to Glenn's comment, in all the years of using disposable diapers on my three sons, there was no health code or legal requirement to dispose of the solid contents separately from the diaper. It all went in the trash and to the landfill.

Thanks Lil. I think you have solved my potty situation. Love the cover too.

Why the sniping? Have I missed something indicating computerspook might be prone to do such a thing? Apologies in advance if the reply was intended as anything other than mean spirited.

It is a joke.

However this is what Metro Vancouver has to say about dog feces, never mind human feces.
Pet waste is listed as prohibited from the region's garbage, but small amounts are accepted preferably double-bagged and put in the next pick-up.
We want to limit the amount of dog waste going to the landfill. It’s potentially hazardous to staff and it also produces methane, a powerful green house gas. On warm days it smells in bags, the garbage bin and work places. We encourage the alternatives listed above.
