Just got back from my weakly camping night out, every Tuesday and Last week when I was pulling into the Blackberry campground on the Kangamaugus Highway in Albany NH I spotted a large Black Bear.
I thought it was too early but again this week, although we didn't see her she left some good foot prints in front of the truck in the mud so she must have been out there as we sat by the fire because when we did go to bed the mud was already frozen in the low temps.
Just be aware that they are out and they will soon be getting their cubs out too.

Pretty soon the grizzlies will be out on the roadsides heading towards Alaska eating the green stuf to get rid of the hibernation tastes in their bellies!

No need to go camping to see them here in North Vancouver - they started roaming the streets on garbage pick up day about a week or so ago.
Now I know that spring has finally come!
