Bed sizes?

Boy, apparently I can't figure out the search function on the forums here. I know somebody (Donna?) posted a link to bed sizes in some thread I started a while back, but I'll be darned if I can find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thank you Raz, that is JUST what I was looking for.

So, standard 16' Scamps' rear dinette beds are 44" wide, but deluxe 16' Scamps are 54"?

Another question - Scamp offers canopies that set up with tent poles. Anybody ever bought an egg and had the modern type of canopies installed? You know, the kind with side things installed on the trailer body that like hinge out? If so, is that a DIY kinda thing, or take it to an RV shop kinda thing?

Thanks!

Looks like we'll be getting a new Scamp maybe next spring, 16' deluxe. Gotta get a new tow vehicle, have driven plenty, and a few more to try. Traverse is next...

It was reported here a while back that Scamp was offering an increase in the bed size for the 13' standard. Perhaps that will become available on the 16' standard as well? Raz

Raz, when I emailed Alan about bed size in the 16' standard Friday or yesterday, he got back to me with 44" wide and 6' 4". I emailed him back that 44" wouldn't work for us, but 54" would, but he never got back to me. I wouldn't doubt he needs a day off from answering people's emails. I imagine they are inundated this time of year!

No Brian, I'm not sure, just going from pics on their web site. I have not had good luck with the tent pole kind on our Sunline, ugly or not, I want something that works. Of course, our Sunline is 30 years old too!

Just washed the old tunnel hull speed boat, time for a ride.

Scamp offered the Dometic 2500 until a couple of years ago. The built-in legs(not tent poles) could be attached to the body of the camper with supplied brackets if desired. The new Fiama offers the same option.
A Scamp is not built in such a way as to accommodate the type of awning often supplied with bulgemobiles which have permanent arms down both sides.
However, don't mistake the Scamp offering with a bag awning.
