Been a while

It's been a while since I posted on my Gypsy trailer project. I used it last summer for a trip to Utah and Burning Man. Now, I get to do all the little improvements and art work.

Very creative!

How was Burning Man? Have you got all the sand out of it yet? Any tips for those who may attend in the future?

Thanks guys, Burning Man was great and yes, it looks like a giant mushroom. I'm hoping to add some more design elements to round it out. Perhaps some decorative buttress trim. I'm also planning on an exterior fortune teller Kiosk.

Burning Man Advice, oh so much to give. As for the trailer, I have fabulous cleaning advice. During the trip, use a piece of remnant vinyl flooring as your exterior mat (like a 10 by 10 piece). You can sweep it. When you get back, clean with air before water.

Step 1.

Empty out your trailer, open all windows and doors, and blow out the whole trailer with an air compressor. I works great for also blowing dust off fabric like curtains and cushions.

Step 2.

In a spray bottle using a rag or in a bucket using a sponge, wipe down the surfaces with a 1 to 2 vinegar to water solution. This neutralizes the alkaline in the playa dust.

Step 3

Use a Dr. Bronners like soap solution and wipe down the surfaces again to take off the vinegar solution streaks.

Very unique and different looking. I imagine that your gas mileage took quite a hit when you added that sail on the roof.

Not arrow dynamic, that's for sure. I'm thinking about making a fin for the car to take the edge off the drag.
