What you say Mike is sooooo true. I had stopped riding my old bike a couple of years ago. Love my new bike & the new components, its a joy to ride. The price of it is well worth the health benefits of actually using it! But a bit of warning on trying out new bikes. A member of my household is into GranFondo type bike races (100 mile or more races done in 3 to 4 hours), never take their bikes for a spin or pick them up, as ease of ride & ease of loading it up on the car goes to a whole new level, as does the price tag.

Nice. I will be picking up a full suspension 29er as soon as the 2013's come in. Likely one of the Specialized Stumpjumper FSR's.

After trying a couple this past year, they really make the ride so much better, and I can do so much more (especially downhill), I am done with a hardtail.
