My in-laws just announced that they have bought a 40 foot 'Alfa See Ya'.

I can't wait to get a photo of our Scamp next to it... in fact if they have a hitch, I might just hook it up for a picture.

In their defense... they sold their house and are 'full timing'... and will be idle most of the time.

It wasn't funny. It was rather sad.

I watched a couple guys launching a 26' fg boat with twin inboard/outboards. As the driver backed down the ramp, the boat slid off the trailer smashing the legs on the concrete.

His helpful friend had unhooked the boat from the trailer without his knowledge.

I figure that was about $4,000 damage at least and no fishing for a while.

And, hey don't watch me when the new Escape arrives. I've only had to cope with a tent trailer up 'til now. I'm going to have to practice and instruct the Old Bag in how to give directional assist.
