Yes, it's true --- check out my listing in the FOR SALE section of these Forums. As many of you know, it's hard to tell what we're liable to do next. I think I've known for quite a while that this day was coming. We've sure enjoyed our travels and visits with a lot of you but we are now ready to kinda ''settle down'' for a while and just be Snow Birds.

We have been on the road for 2 months and started with the Lake Casitas Rally which was a lot of fun. Traveled around California for a few weeks, really enjoyed our stay at Morro Bay, our visit with Mike and Lori while there, our visit with Wes and Maggi while at lake Cuhuilla ( or however you spell it), and so on.

However, we spent almost 2 weeks at Blackrock RV park in Brenda, AZ, and then moved on to GOOD LIFE RV RESORT here in Mesa, AZ. We've come to love this place and have purchased a ''Park Model'' Trailer here and plan to spend several months each year here in the Winter.

So, we decided to sell the BIGFOOT and will also be selling the Tahoe if anyone is interested. I wouldn't be surprised if a Casita entered my life again one day. We could use it to travel back and forth and to the occasional get-together. But for now, this is what we need to do.

I'll still be here lurking away and hopefully can still jump in once in a while.

Just felt I should explain this all a bit.

Later,

EKW

I've got a feeling, Kieth, that you'll be back. Please stick around the site, trailer or not!

Sounds similar to what we hope to do. I looked up your park. Boy it looks nice.

What months do you think you will spend there? Looks like a good place to visit y’all. Mesa is a two day drive for us.

Mike, I've thought about you and Lori a lot since we've been here. More and more younger people are coming to these places. It's pretty inexpensive living if you don't need tons of ''house'' and ''stuff''.

We can't take possesion of the unit until April 1 because there are renters in there for Jan, Feb and March. We will probably go home Feb 1 and then come back in April or May for a couple weeks. However, I think we will likely spend October through March, with a trip home for Christmas after that. However, this is all new and we'll kinda make it up as we go. We're serious about this Snowbird thing.

Hope you and others can visit us while we're here.

WOW, that is exactly what I want to do. Even if you don't have a trailer, please let those of us that are green with envy know how you are doing. My plans are to travel for a year or maybe two then settle down. My folks went the snow bird route and had the time of there life, no regrets.
I have been looking at motorhomes but have made no final decisions as of right now. Sometime in the not to distant future I may be selling both the Fiber Stream and the Quantum. Time will tell.
Enjoy your new life and best of luck to you both.

Keith and Shirley,

Hubby and I sure enjoyed visiting with the two of you at Casitas. Glad to hear your travels went well and you found a place to "land".

Don't be a stranger around here!
