I noticed that there are a few Black Friday bargains for items that will be useful to us FGRVers. For example, Harbor Frieght has a 60 watt power inverter for $8.99, a 1000 watt power inverter for $69.99, a set of jumper cables with an inline battery tester for $11.99, a pair of folding table legs for $9.99, and a 12 volt jump-start power supply for $29.99.

Are you aware of any other good bargains for good stuff? If so, let us know!

Thanks. I’ll pass this on to my shopper. She will love it.

[b]Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the US when all the sales go on. These sales are so effective, they put many retailers, that are not showing a profit for the year, in the [b]BLACK for the year.

I always thought it was because the sky is still as BLACK as night...'cause shoppers get up before the sun rises! (Just kidding, I knew what it meant) My daughter's best friend said she's getting up at 3am tomorrow to go shopping

Thanks, glad it's a good thing, not a bad thing. I remember our first experience with those sales -- it was, my gosh must be about 30 years ago now -- we were in San Francisco over the Thanksgiving period and were amazed at the sales the day after Thanksgiving. We had our daughter with us at the time who was a young teenager and did she ever love those sales! Like toyland for a teenage girl. Have a Happy Thanksgiving all of you.

I'm not so sure about it being a good thing.
But I'm not a retailer so my point of view is a bit different.

I think I'll avoide the crowds and do my shopping with my fingers.

Sales are going to continue through the end of the year at many places. There are at least three good sites to comparison shop. Many stores are giving FREE shipping and NO Sales tax. Just type in what you are looking for in the Search Field, model numbers help.

Check these sites out.

http://www.BizRate.com
http://www.Shopping.com
http://www.PriceGrabber.com

Example: Sony w70 7.2 mega pixel camera. Great camera with fantastic color balance. Small, fast, and large screen. $219.99 WOW! I paid $350 for mine a year ago.

Happy Shopping
See Cyber Monday

PS: For those that want to take it a step further. Your local Staples wants your business and will price match and give you Staples 110% price–match guarantee. Take in the store print out.

(No, I don’t have Staples stock.)
