There's an organization started by a member of Escapees called boondockerswelcome.com.

It's a group of people who offer free camping on their property. There is a small fee to join, no fee for camping. There are some size limitations but no problem for our group. Check out the Web site.

Seems pretty nice! My wife and I are still working so we're just weekenders. We usually wait for the holidays and use the extra Monday or Friday to travel/camp. I'm retiring in 2 years, so this is differently something I'm going to look into. Thanks Norm!
