We used to stay there too for about 10 years. They sold it to build condos and now with them partialy started, they cant find bedrock for the high-rise! Serves them right. Rumor has it they might turn it back into an RV park. What goes around , comes around I guess...........
Tried The Reef but there are too many A-hole ATV types there and lots of wind. We stay at Playa Bonita now and run into a lot of former Playa Elegante people there.
