I think in the for sale forums there is a good sticky thread to read on how to avoid scams and buyer beware if they don't have a current title.

Good info here too

Check out the buyers check list in the document center:
Fiberglass RV - Document Center - Buyers Check List

Which size/model boler? Where and when was it made? They are not all the same.

Where in ON are you? It would be a good idea to meet up with an experienced member here to show you the ropes of what to look for.

You are looking for axle function, they are good for 15-20 years
Floor and frame integrity.
Body bulge / door sag
Previous owner mods.

Thanks for the info gents, I am looking at either a 13 or 17 ft depending on condition and price. I am in the Niagara area of Ontario, looking with in the 300 mile radius. I will follow your advise.

Not sure this would be applicable to Jim, seeing he is in Ontario. Here in Alberta, there is no titles issued, you just register as you would any other type of vehicle. You do need proof of purchase and insurance is all.

Jim, that list Roy linked to is a great place to start. If you know anyone that has experience with travel trailers, especially fibreglass ones, I would take them along too.

Don't hesitate to throw any more questions to us while searching. Lots of great people with good advice to give around here.

As well, take advantage of the search feature to find existing topics, lots of great reading through past threads.
