California Apr 8 to 15 Car shows/sightseeing?

Norm has the week off before Easter. We were in Pamona for three days 2 years ago(l.a. roadster show -nice). We would like to see more of Ca. especially San Francisco and San Diego.
Are there any antique or street rod shows on?
What should we see?
Where should we stay?
Is the train a good way to see the coast? Don't think I'm up to L.A. freeways.!! We had a one-day guided van tour of L.A. Going east to west and in car pool lanes with somebody else driving was very easy to take.
Still looking for flights. Southwest HAD $99 seats from Buffalo.

OH MAN!! I just don't know where ta start...
Am Track runs from Vancouver all the way down ta Mexico IF ya wanna go that far! Its one of the prettier rides especially once you get into southern Wa and Orygun and then Kawlifawnya! BUT it IS spendy too!!!
I have lists of rod runs n shows both here an up n down the coast too for ya!
