Camp Chef Portable Camp Oven

Costco has the "Camp Chef Portable Camp Oven" for 149.99 shipped. This is a good price. If you call the store it could be cheaper if you pick it up.

Looks nice. I wonder if you can use it inside.

This is my main stove in spite of having a 2-burner in the Casita. Oven is great - recommend heating it up to desired temp before loading the oven. I use a 20 lb propane bottle rather than the mini 1 lb bottle. That is a good price at Costco. I got mine thru Amazon - another good price and free shipping to Prime members.

I believe you will find the instructions specify that these ovens are to be used outside only.

I replied in the other thread this oven came up in and I whole hearted recommend this camp oven/stove.

Works basically the same as a Coleman camp stove so use the same judgement on its use. Outside would probably be the best place to use it.

I like it- though already having a Coleman stove I'd probably want the smaller one that just bakes. I think it would be fun to use to bake while camping.

Right now we are camping, using a Coleman 2 burner propane stove with a Coleman folding oven on it. Had fresh blueberry muffins for breakfast.

The other source of this appliance - or an other-branded equivalent - often at sale prices is Canadian Tire. I agree that $150 is about as cheap as it gets - good tip for anyone looking.

I honestly can't tell if Jim is asleep or intensely sarcastic today...

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

We got our camp chef oven/stove combo a couple of seasons ago at Costco towards the end of camping season for the ridiculous price of $129.

Those of us with Cobb grills can also bake with them.
