This is the latest fashion rage in Japan. I explained to a friend that the look was not . . . suitable for camping attire - espceially for females over 40. Young Fashions

The "I want to shock you" generation gets this as fashion. The rest of us - NO. Lets hope this is one trend that just doesn't immigrate or translate.

I am convinced this is a Japanese attempt to promote a more egalitarian society, where the "have-nots" have equal access to high fashion. Cheaper, but colder.........
