This is the latest fashion rage in Japan. I explained to a friend that the look was not . . . suitable for camping attire - espceially for females over 40. Young Fashions

Thumbs up

I can figure out that men would find this entertaining. I cannot figure out why women would want to wear them.

A women with any sense of decency wouldn't wear them Frederick.

Wonder if a woman has to worry about panty lines

It's an eveil plot to sell designer underthings!

I am not a prude, by any means, but even so, if I was in the age range again that could get away with those without making everyone around me ill...

I still wouldn't.

Now, where IS my shawl? Give it here Sonny. Now go long and play.

The "I want to shock you" generation gets this as fashion. The rest of us - NO. Lets hope this is one trend that just doesn't immigrate or translate.

I am convinced this is a Japanese attempt to promote a more egalitarian society, where the "have-nots" have equal access to high fashion. Cheaper, but colder.........
