This has nothing to do with FG trailers except that it does take money to keep them running.

I have been doing some research on state websites under "Unclaimed Property" and have been finding relatives that are owed money. Sometimes over $1000.

So, while you are on the web, you might just boogie over to the state websites of all the states you have lived in, and you may be surprised.

State of California was holding close to $500. that was owed to my Brother who moved to Arizona.

The State of California had $273.00 of my money from a savings account I forgot when I moved over 40 years ago.
I can't help but wonder what it would be worth had it been drawing interest for the 40+ years.

Hmmmm based on current interest rates, about $273.97. Actually, some states pay interest on cash being held. You might ask.

CA has about $435.00 of my late wife's I have to get back, but the paperwork for that situation is a real PITA.
