Canadas Camping Season Starts This Weekend

Hi All
I live on Highway #3 In B.C..This is the real first weekend of the camping season up here. From my front window I am watching all the RVs getting a head start and rolling down the road to there favorite spots.I know from past experiance if you don't get out early you woun't get a good spot.I myself have learned to forgo this traditional period due to overcrowding and heavy traffic on roads and everyone in a rush. For those going drive safely and have fun.:wave

What a bummer you can't fly the trailer up too. :wak. Oh well!, as long as your camping. :) sounds like fun anyway.

Hi All
Well I did it and went out and bought a new to my wife and I a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad cab for towing our Fiberglass wonder. We are both within a few years of retirement,so felt it was time.Vehical fully loaded with every option and only 77000 KMs on it.4.7 liter motor with 3.55 rear end and tow package.

Chester, from the look of your morning picture, I hope your new truck is a
4x4.;) The traditional first day of gardening, has the bedding plants still
huddling in the garage here too. :cry

I would be really interested in how your Dakota tows, since that was one
of the vehicles options I was considering, but I opted for an Astrovan
(Safari actually) instead.

Hi Rock
No--Not a 4x4.I did not feel that I needed one.I took trailer for a little spin just to get feel of it.Things went real good.I am pleased.Next week i will try a Good long spin to work out brakes etc.
Take care
