Canadian Trip

We will be leaving Noxon Montana for a 2 week trip to Canada.
Noxon leave August 3rd or 4th, then cross at Kingsgate to Cranbrook, Lake Louise to Jasper, Kamloops then home South of Spokane Wa.
We are looking for nice camping, fishing (lake or rivers) and site seeing.
If anyone has some good ideas about places ? please post

Not sure when you leave Kamloops what route you will take but the Nakusp area is very scenic . Summit lake provincial park) nice lakefront sites and fishing. Flush toilets and good water. Also north of Kaslo Lost ledge and Davis Creek provincial parks, right on lake, fishing etc but no drinkable water, hand pump, pit toilets.
The 2 provincial parks near to Cranbrook - Whiteswan and Premier lake are supposed to have good fishing but they are quite a ways in on gravel roads)
Have a great trip and let us know how it went.
There is a little campground at Yahk not long after the border by the river - Yahk provincial park, good for a 1 nighter

The campground at lake louise has great Trout in the river running through the middle of it
You need a park fishing license that is fairly cheap and good for all the parks
It is a beautiful drive from lake louise to jasper ( some Hills) with good rustic campgrounds ( waterfowl lake is quite nice)
Hot pool in radium and jasper are nice too
Banff and even more so jasper are special places you will have a great time
I expect you will get lots of advice on great places for this trip

May do the trip in reverse, Kamloops-Jasper-Lake Louise- Golden-then towards home. Floods and weather change our plans. Still would like to find places to fish in that new order. We can do small lakes, small rivers and creeks. Very excited to get to Alberta and BC. Got the last of the new parts on the Scamp, Cleaned and looking good inside. These fiber trailers are like working on old VW's everything you do you do better then factory Oh! what FUN.
