Itza a very Pacific Northwest morning here in the campground at Ft. de Soto in Gulf Coast Floor-eee-duh so I fired up the mi-fi to find youse giving me a good laugh whilst watching the rain fall.

Thanks for the vid-clips....absolutely love the Red Green show...itza shame it's not run down here in the States (or at least in SC where we park the rig when not on the road.) Might have to look into acquiring that video.

Y'all made my morning.

Josie

I think that some PBS stations run the R-G show in the states. That is how I learned most of what I know about automobiles.

Yeah, I know from friends in the US, that it is definitely shown on some station down there. His shows are great.

I love the line, "I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I guess."

Yah...Mr. says he used to watch it up north in New Jersey...down here in my little corner of Podunk I don't recall it. Mebbe check the PBS line-up when we get home and see if I just missed it or they might be re-running them. It would be an interesting counterpoint to my current fave...Downton Abbey.

Though I would stand my ground for a "Beaver Tail"...the gravy fries....not so much. Don't care for the almost equal here either. Different strokes, yanno?

Aneee-waaay....loved my all too brief experiences with our Northern neighbors on a long ago trip and those recently met on the road.

Also, don't forget the spelling of some common words:

Recreation Centre
Honour above all
Labour Relations
Sulphur Dioxide

for example...

That's the funniest post I've seen here, Hazel! I'll be getting giggle-backs to that one next week. Babe and The Blue Ox stuff for sure even if the model belongs to the Cheese Heads dwelling in the tropics south of Green Bay.

Vic, it is a lot better than the American misspelling of some common words.
Plus, other than the Maritimers, we have no accent, unlike folks south of the 49th.

I don't fear Canadians employing British spelling. Shows some backbone either side of the pond.

Wow, that foto of the skywriters will come in handy when next we discuss polymer chains--if ever we do? Are they Canadian? I don't see their toboggan caps.

Say, I remember those darn bugs that used to infest the Ohio shore of Lake Erie in June. We called them Canadian soldiers. What do Canadians call them?
