You asked Fredrick...I made this one but yes you can buy them. Looking for my stuff now for you. Shelia's is like a thong (ask a lady about thong panties) that is sewn over a ponytaile doodle (lady question again) and this fastens under her middle. I sewed a small O-ring (man question) on the back over her shoulders for the leash to snap to. **NOTE those auto let out leashes are not too cool for cats. Shelia likes this better than the "store-bought" jobs as it is more comfortable. here is a link http://www.metpet.com/ of one place that sells them

The patented MetPet Cat Walking Jacket in 2 styles, 2 sizes and 4 colors
MetPet customer Lennie decked out in her red Walking Jacket is ready to go out and about
We've added a breathable plastic insert to our famous Walking Jacket (the hard-sided is on your left in the picture) which makes it stiffer, straighter and heavier than our SoftSided version.

The plastic is flexible enough to curl around and under your cat and stay perfectly comfortable. The HardSided Walking Jacket is available in four rich and beautiful colors and currently just in the standard size (fits up to a 16-17 lb. cat)

If your cat jumps up and down, tries to climb trees and generally keeps you very busy while on leash, the HardSided version is a great option.

Our classic SoftSided Walking Jacket is still just $14.99 while the HardSided Walking Jacket is $16.99

Every cat should have and know how to use a Walking Jacket. Cats are notoriously slippery and difficult to hold on to when they're frightened or excited. The Walking Jacket gives you extra holding power and safety for you and your cat.

Leash walking your cat is easy and we'll show you how. Cat Walking Jacket in four colors and two sizes

In addition to a jaunt around the block every evening, the Walking Jacket is great for:
- trips to the vet
- additional safety inside a carrier
- vacations
- imprinting in a new home and neighborhood
- additional security when trimming nails or brushing teeth
- additional safety inside the car
- emergency situations
- meeting new family members or neighbors
- any situation where extra restraint is needed

Hmmmm...looks like an ideal outfit for giving a cat a pill, too!

Yes, a definite needed item. I guess I am lucky. Miss Shelia will bring hers to me on a trip when she has had enough of the truck or egg and wants to go to walk.

Ani likes her harness. It is a little big because she is a little fat.

Joe and Melanie, Ani is a beautiful girl! I bet she is a sweety too. I just use the jacket type because my Shelia is a hyper little girl. Hope to see you on the road someday.

Here's another site that has them but they are a bit more money. Nice pictures and description.

I've never tried one but I might order one in case we for some reason have to take one of our fuzzies with us.
