I was looking around for a new stove and came across a cental vacuum system for a rv. I'm not buying, but I aint laughing either. Those dust ruffles do get dusty.

I installed a central vac in my Burro (tongue planted firmly in cheek).
Found a 12-volt vac, hung it from the plumbing under the sink, made a hose outlet plus a switch near the floor, hardwired it, got a long enough hose from the local vac shop. Voila!

Less to drag out, quick to connect hose, MUCH quieter because of location. With the long hose the suction sucks, but it is enough to do the job, and being 12volt it is usable when boondocking.

Thought about a 120v job, but this one will do. Pretty central though, with only one hose connection.

When I was a young sailor many years ago, I flew as flight crew on P3B & P3C Orion sub hunter-killers. The Orion is a four-engine turbo-prop job capable of 330kts cruise speed. They had a venturi port in the hull, and if you connected a vacuum hose to the inside connector of the venturi port at cruising speed, it vacuumed out the cabin quite nicely... now I was thinking that if you installed just such a port in a FGRV, and managed to go down the road at just the right crusing speed while someone inside was vacuuming... hmmm...

Just put a little flapper door down by the floor on an outside wall of the trailer and brush the stuff out.

Personally, I just run an iron rake through the rug and get the bigger chunky bits...

We suspect quite a few of us have your brand central vacuum system. No additional weight (along for the trip anyway), no lack of suction, super efficient, etc. LOL

After two or three weeks on the road my wife is unable to ignore the debris on the floor, but it is not usually of the food variety. The doggie has however been intensively trained as a dishwasher and pot scrubber, going so far as peeling the Teflon™ off the Farberware™. We have an Atwood™ water heater that puts out really hot water when asked, so it is not quite as yucky as it sounds.

That's the whole story here in Burro™-land.
