Changes in the past 15 or so years

15 years ago we went to Az from Ar we saw one Scamp on the way out and one Casita in a park on the return trip . Jump forward 15 years we got home yesterday from picking up a 2010 lib dlux Casita in canyonville Or about 2500 miles round trip ,we saw about 12 fiberglasseggs of different brands on the way out and 20 or so on the trip back . I guess there are just more people in to our kind of travel , I for one enjoy seeing all the eggs on the road ,and they still get a lot of attention at fuel, and food stops .

Interesting observation. And congratulations on finding another nice egg. Did you have a Casita at some time in the past?

One glance at the home page on this site will reveal the "golden age of fiberglass". The recent resurgence is barely a shadow.
Sitings are still very rare in all parts of the country.
There will of course be statistical anomalies and fiberglass rallies.
With something less than 4000 fiberglass trailers being produced annually, serving an area of 10,000,000 square miles and a population approaching a half billion souls... the prognosis is rarity for the foreseeable future.

My wife used to say... "when you're pregnant you see pregnant women everywhere!"

I just recently bought a Mustang convertible and guess what???

We just got back from a week in three different Georgia State Parks and saw exactly ONE other egg, a Scamp 19. At our first stop, F.D. Roosevelt S.P., an older lady just about did a power slide and stop into our campsite she was so excited to FINALLY see a Scamp! She had wanted one FOREVER but had never seen one in person.
