For those of you who never peruse the Rallies forum, a few people at the Oregon Gathering have begun writing a blog!

This means the rest of us can attend vicariously!

I know I personally am checking it several times a day... (Of course, they are having fun at The Gathering and not necessarily adding to it several times a day; but that's as it should be!)

Gathering Blog

Feel free to add your comments and impressions of the blog here, in this topic. Maybe they will see WE ARE READING IT, and will be thus encouraged to post more!!

Vicarious camping. I bet a cost/benefit analysis of this would be a stunner. At the moment it doesn't matter, since I'm stuck here under the gray skies of Portland.

We had great time meeting many of the wonderful folks from this forum this weekend. Wish we'd been able to stay for longer than just the weekend, but we were saving our vacation time to drive up to Canada to get our Bigfoot. Thank you to all the organizers, coordinators and behind-the-scenes wizards who made this event possible, and to all the members who graciously welcomed us, shared their expertise, and let us gawk at their modifications and trailers during and after the tour.

We are very eager to pick up our 19'er so that we can get busy gussying her up for next year's Rally!
