Hi Roger,
I'm not sure what you're trying to bring to light here with your post. Washington State doesn't require any form of CDL for RV'ers/Trailer Towers (non-commercial), regardless of the size or length, including those RV's that have air brakes. Just curious as to what point you were trying to convey here.

Oregon doesn't have a CDL requirement either. (Although personally, I think it would be a good idea for some of the monster 5th wheels I see on the road.)

Ya, D.D, know what you mean. Too any stories of Harold and Edna (due apologies to any Harolds and Edna's reading this) who go to someplace like.... GI-NORMOUS DISCOUNT RV SALES!!!, get themselves a GINOMOUS rig and the dealer waves bye-bye. That's IT.
