Checking interest in a Eastern OH or Western PA spring GTG

Just looking to see if there would be any interest in a campout in Eastern Ohio or western PA. I know of several campgrounds, and would be willing to host if there is any amount of interest. Thank you.

Yes, very interested! We have been going to the Casita meet in southern Ohio for several years (even though we are a Trillium/Scamp family, they haven't minded too much) but a NEOH meet would be very cool. Keep us informed, please.

Smile Super interested - It's been awhile!

Hi all,
I'm in Kentucky and Ohio or PA are doable for me. I haven't been to a FG rally in awhile!

Please keep us posted

Gary

We’re in NW PA and would like to attend if we can fit into our schedule. Please let us know if and when dates are selected.

I hope to have everything finished on the Casita rebuild, and will be looking to meet a number of the people on the forum. I think we would try to come.

GREAT!

Sounds like we have the makings on a nice GTG. IF anyone has a requests as for dates and and amenities (ie hook ups, swimming pools, planned activities, site seeing, etc..) please let me know, so I can sort out campgrounds.

It would be nice to have electricity and water. I am not set up for dry camping.

Electricity is a must. Waterfront is VERY desirable. Trees are desirable. Mid week dates (Start on a Sunday or Monday and end on a Thursday for example) would be a good idea to get better rates and to be different than all the other rallies so as not to conflict with any others. Cooler months such as mid May or mid September through early November is a good idea. Activities - show/shine, potluck, morning coffee/muffins, excursions to local attractions, trailer talks, evening campfires with marshmallows and BYOB/snacks, etc...

I'm leaning towards May 11-13th weekend. (I'm a working stiff and only have weekends off). I have a private campground in mind. I have an annual GTG with a few friends of mine there, and we are the only ones there. IT's small and basic, but has full hook ups, a bath house, and a fishing lake. It's a hit among the families in my group.

I think a spring rally would be great for those who can't make it to our Sept. rally at Caesar Creek State Park in Sept. each year. (Near the intersection of St. Rt. 73 and I-71 in Ohio). Our 2018 rally is scheduled there Sept. 19-23 and all are welcome! We have had our rally for the past 13 years. We have people from all over the country! If you have one on the north/eastern border of Ohio or western part of PA, that would be great! Feel free to PM me for more details. We had over 50 campsites booked this year. Sandy

I'm in! I've met Bryan and his Cozy-Casa last year at West Branch State Park in Ohio.

Did you ever have the rally? We would be interested if you plan one for 2019. Where did you go in 2018? We go from Kalamazoo via I80/PA tpk to Baltimore and your rally might just be halfway!
