Close encounter of the third kind !

You spend a lot of time searching for your perfect trailer. Then, you finally find one, you plan a visit, you fall in love with it and you think it is perfect...then you bring it home and reality sets in...

Mildew, molds, bad odors, cracks, silicone to glue everything everywhere (how do you get rid of that? )...I just spent 2 days trying to remove glue and silicone from the 2 side windows (that's how they were attaching window covering sticky velcro and silicone under the velcro )

But after a good washing...or two...and a coat of paint she should be presentable.

Looks good enough to get some camping in before it gets to cold.

Happy Camping

It's in good over all shape but the front is coverded in molds (under the back rest / bunk bed) and so are all the cushions. Not quite ready to go out. But I agree the pictures looks great !

Cleaning up someone else's dirt and grime, left over moldly stuff and SILICONE is sweat equity. You'll appreciate it that much more when you're done. As long as it's structurally sound, looks like you're almost ready to GO!

A good cleaning followed by Concrobium goes a long way.

Thanks for the tip. I was just in Tractor Supply this AM. I'll check there. If not Lowe's and Home Depot are down the street.

You would be surprised, check this out:
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...3-a-59022.html

A good spot to get a lot of pointers on your "new to you" trailer and meet some nice people. I hear some of them even drink wine.

Speaking of Wine, there is also the meet in Niagara the following week:

Thank you for the link.
We are new members of Bolerama Québec. We are going to the meet ...Still, the boler trailer is not that common around here. Since ours is in the driveway we are meeting new people as they stop to look and ask question. It's fun to have a show stopper... Our previous RV was a Vandura 1977 completly vintage with yellow shag I guess we like beiing a bit different
