Colors on Rally Map??

This is probably a dumb question but I didnt see a legend on the Google Rally map and cant figure out why most of the "pins" are red but a few are green?????

hummm, looks like to me the green pins are for Rallies that have already occured. Red... are "current" or yet to happen....

Is this right?

Melissa there is no legend but up at the top in the title areas it indicates that the red flags are meets that have already taken place. You must be looking at last years 2011 map - they all should be red - sorry I was away when they last few took place and forgot to go back into the old map and change the last held in 2011 to red. All the 2012 will show green - for now - sadly its not an auto process to get them to turn red...

Oh, ya, I see now it says 2011, LOL. I clicked on the "FGRV" links in the left hand column and it didnt occur to me that it wasnt 2012. Thanks!

No problem! The 2011 Sticky Note for the maps should be archived as I have had a few people send me notes suggesting I have incorrect dates for their meets etc as they are looking at the 2011 map.

As a side note if Google Maps does start to do funny things or things do not seem right - try using Chrome as a browser rather than IE as maps (and a lot of other web pages) seem to work far better with it.

If possible, could a moderator change the rally map under the "More" drop down menu to the 2012 map rather than the 2011?

Thanks Jon, Suspect you will see this happen shortly. I actually sent a PM to Nancy this AM asking to have the 2011 sticky moved to the archives and the links on the forum sides and headings etc set to link to the 2012 map. Sorry I have been kind of busy and forgot all about it
