I have read Burro has been out of buisness a few years. There is still a Burro website. I wonder what happened?? Scamp and Casita are still going strong.

I am wondering what the Burro's sold new for. Does anyone know what the 1999 17 foot model would have cost brand new? They seem to have a very good resale value.

Denise, If you do not like it, I will take it off your hands. I live in KY and would love to visit your camper when you get it. My husband and I are looking for a 13ft. We like the burro or U-Haul, but will be happy with a Scamp.

All molded lightweight fiberglass RV's that are well maintained have a high resale value (in comparison to stickies)

I have the original paperwork on mine. (I am the second owner)

With all the bells and whistles, it was 11k.

We are checking on 2 uhauls that are on Ebay right now. Does anyone know who made them? They look like they were made by Burro

Nancy, they are similar in construction, but UHaul was built in a half-dozen factories by various manufacturers for the UHaul company as a line of rental campers. Burro has been built by three different companies in three locations. The three companies who built Burro have no connection to one another, and so far as I know, none of them were connected with UHaul.

There is a real nice park right outside DC in Va. It is by Quanico. It is an easy drive to park at the mall and take the metro in. If you need the name, I will look it up. It is not fancy, but clean, reasonable and good swimming pool.

Nancy

When are you getting the trailer??????????????
