If you see us traveling the hiways-yes, we know our little `Road Toad` is crooked. From the back you can see it tows slightly crooked. Have been told it would cost plenty to straighten it. It seems to travel with ease so we haven`t worried much.We have been told it may wear tires more quickly but that is cheaper than trying to straighten the frame.
Having the bearings cleaned and packed today-getting it ready for our trip next month.
Anyone wanting to plan a get together for Compact owners-in the midwest (Ks, Mo, Neb, Il). We would be interested. We like to camp at Huzzah Valley Resort at Steelville , Mo. Nice camping grounds with utilities, beautiful landscape and floating the Huzzah River (slow and lazy float with a few rapids for a thrill or two) suitable for non swimmers or canoes or kayaks.

May not be the frame, the axle might be crooked a bit. Does it have leaf springs? If so it would be easy and cheap to fix. If it has a torsion axle it might be harder depending on how it's attached.

if the experts say its safe (I have no opinion, I don't know squat about running gear.. Liz fixes mine ) then just tell folks it is its special character.

If the trailer is towing at an angle - like if the trailer wheels don't point straight ahead - expect the wheel bearings to fail early as they will be running with a constant side force that they aren't designed for.

I saw a boat trailer that had its axle knocked out of true (the axle cross member was just clamped to the main rails with U-bolts) which caused the bearings to fail in under 100 miles, though it was towing at a pretty extreme angle - maybe 10 degrees off straight ahead.
