I am not too good on computers and never tried posting pics before so I hope this works out .
I found the second pic pic on the ISLAND BOLERS web site, I know its not an egg but thought it worth posting. No extras , no tipping= fun
I took the fist pic while camping on Vancouver Island, thousands of dollers + extras & tips = misery, who has most fun ??

Now that's a terrific idea, trailer on a barge. For those people who would like to get off the road for a change, renting a barge with a motor. (hug the coast line). In another life, I think that I could give up my day job. Thanks for the pic's. Bonnie in Port Hardy,BC

Interesting. I've seen some barges that are excessively luxurious.

Looks remarkedly like one of those B.C. ferries that has just done a 360 and come within 300 meters of going aground on an island!!!

We live near the Trent/Severn canal in Ontario and my wife has wanted for years to rent or buy a houseboat and travel through the locks from Lake Ontario to Georgian Bay on this waterway. She probably got the idea when we had a cottage on one of the lakes connected to this system. This year we bought a 13.5 L'il Bigfoot and I got the idea of slightly modifying a pontoon boat so it would allow rolling the Bigfoot onto the deck and creating a simple houseboat(floatingFGRV). Seeing this picture may motivate me to try it.
