Angry Darn weather!

It seems like it wasn't to long ago I was complaining about snow in my favorite ATV riding area.

Here I sit most of the day arguing politics on the computer because it's 111 degrees outside.

Sometimes we just can't win.

That Big Giant High Pressure has gotten the temps really up there. We have gotten a little relief as it has mover a little more to the West.

Monsoons, please come back on time.

Don't believe the Wildfires can be stopped without a Good Rain.

Well, will be lucky if the corn is knee high by the 4th of July in some places here.

We're under a flash flood watch again tonight in Central NY. Several local towns sustained severe flooding in the past couple of days. Same weather pattern expected to continue for the next week. After last winter they said, "Cheer up, things could be worse." So, we cheered up and sure enough.....

Here in North Dakota with the reputation of being so cold the days are in the upper 70's to low 80's. The forecast for the next 10 days is for very little possibility or rain. The whole state is lush green from all the rain up until lately. If you want nice camping weather. this is ideal. I hear even the badlands area in the SW around Medora is beautiful. The flowers at the International Peace Garden should be coming to full bloom shortly. That location on the International border has a nice campground too. Even cooler up there.

Come to Nova Scotia for cooler weather. Only problem is we have had rain every day (and night) for the last week. Hasn't stopped us, but the fog has made sight seeing a bit tough. I have a journal and photos at the link in my signature.

Adrian, I hope you don't live near Yarnell.
I just saw on the News 19 Firefighters were killed in the Wild Fire.

Sometimes we all forget just what a dangerous job fire fighting is and how much those of us who live in fire prone areas owe them.

My mistake, I was thinking you lived in Arizona

This topic emphasizes the reason for travel trailers, so you can migrate someplace with better weather.

Like Jon and Brian, all we've seen is rain. Usually we take a short local trip in June. Do some paddling. Not this year. The one or two nice days go to garden upkeep or trying to get the winter fire wood in. Usually that chore is done by now. Not all bad though. The temperatures are only in the 80's and I'm finally getting around to installing a new faucet in the trailer. Raz

Last year this time it was over 110 here.

Today it might get to 78!

We are pretty thrilled for now but the other shoe will drop it is just a matter of when?

Darn Weather!
