My work "office" is portable. THIS is what I use for a desk.

Here it is set up at a jobsite today. I have to borrow the customer's podium for my clipboard.

I write my reports at the jobsite, and download them to floppy disc (so last century) to submit them into our main computer files.

And a better view of this job. One scale done, 49 to go!

My desk has so many projects going, [b]I need to Declutter. I need to do something soon.
Clutter has a way of comming back, as if all by itself. I am constantly decluttering my desk at home, and soon I find that it is back to being cluttered up again.

I found this website that has a great solution to the clutter of wires, multiple monitors, papers, peripherals, cables, transformers, memory card readers, routers, additional hard drives, modems and on and on. Check it out.
If I showed a photograph of my desk to the person who did that website, they'd likely collapse and die.

I also have unfinished projects but I think the knitted ones may be gone to the moths.

I'm like a magpie. If it's shiny.....I'm hopeless. I have loads of scrap-booking stuff, calligraphy stuff and glass seed beads. I do a lot of collage, but not much call for that kind of exchange, although I think it would be fun to do an art project with a few people. Your knitted bracelets with beads sound intruiguing. Want to exchange for a necklace? I have loads of half-finished sewing projects. A mini scrap quilt...well, all the scraps, anyway. Name some colors you like.

Art project: I'd start a bunch (naturally) all the same, send them along to someone who will add their gee-gaws, do-dads and talent, and then they'll pass it along....3 projects, 3 people, and so on. What do you think? Anyone want in?

I'll add you to the list of gee-gaw gatherers then, Ann! We have to find at least one more person....any takers?
I'll check my scrap drawer in a few weeks (I'm not ripping it open until things slow down at work), and I may just send something along if you want it. It's vintage fabric scraps (well...they weren't vintage when I started but i think they qualify now) and they're not put together (hence the "unfinished" part of the project).
Necklace: Offering. I will provide - tell me what colors you'd like it in.

Colors I like: Well, for decorating a house - any colors, but especially gold and olive green, or bright red. For wearing - I mostly do basic black with an accent color - I'm short on orange accessories and red's always a winner - so is blue. Black accessories go with everything.
